Contemporary Artist | Installation Artist | Educator
Scientist turned artist at 58, creating art about color, stories, and healing.
Dr. Hyacinth Paul spent her first career as a scientist and professor. At 58 she picked up a brush, and in her first year she completed more than fifty-eight paintings. Today she is a Dayton, Ohio artist, author, podcaster, and educator whose paintings and mixed media art and installations explore migration, memory, and the power of color to help people heal.
"Every story matters. Every thread belongs. Every color has the power to connect us."
