Golden Rain I is the result of a painting I was developing but stopped short of progressing further. I love the simplicity of this splatter action abstract painting. I generally use several layers on my abstract painting but this one was so pretty at this stage that I decided to stop and make it a series of three paintings. I hope you will enjoy this painting as much as I do. The simplicity of this painting speaks to me. I can see this abstract art is a contemporary home. It will complement the decor with its dark Prussian blue background with yellow splatter paint drops. It has a very good fun element to it and I hope will put a smile on the viewer with its sunny, free willed style!
